Sections, departments, and job roles

How the grid is organised

Rostrix builds roster rows from your branch sections (departments) and the job roles configured for the business. Shifts sit under the section that matches their work area / role.

Why you might see “General / No job role”

Empty section slots labelled General appear when the section catalog has loaded but there is no job role row to show yet — or briefly while role data is still loading. After a full load (or refresh), you should see the job roles from Settings.

If General persists after refresh, check that job roles and sections are configured for that branch.
