What counts as an active employee?

An active employee is a staff profile that has not been archived, linked to a membership on that business and a user account, both not deleted. Archiving a person sets those records aside, so they stop counting. Rostrix platform operator accounts and platform helper accounts are excluded. The count does not look at who is rostered or clocked in.

What happens when I go over the employee or location limit?

Adding another person is blocked once the active employee count is at the plan limit. That includes creating staff, accepting an invite, and restoring someone who was archived. People already on the team stay. Adding a location is blocked at the location limit. Headquarters does not count, and a frozen location does not count. If you move to a smaller plan that cannot hold every location, you choose which locations stay active. The others are frozen, not deleted.

Can I cancel any time?

You can move a paid plan to Free at any time. Rostrix schedules that for the end of the current billing period and keeps the paid plan until then. The fee for that period is not refunded, except where Australian Consumer Law requires it or Rostrix agrees in writing.

What is included on Free?

Free is $0. The catalog describes it as “Full current Rostrix for small teams. Scale limits only.” The Free plan in the catalog is 15 active employees and 1 location. The same feature flags are turned on for Free as for the paid plans. A new business is placed on Free without a card charge, and that subscription has no end date in the product.

How does founding pricing work?

Founding pricing is the Business plan at $19 per month. The catalog also stores $190 per year. Subscribing while the offer is open locks that price for as long as the subscription continues, including after the offer closes.
